Design Process

Design Process

Illustration

I wanted to go with more hand-drawn, familiar doodle style of illustration. For the first try, the lines were more rough and colors did not quite match the color scheme we decided as a team.

I fixed the illustration, and drew more accordingly to what the group needed: on chance and trivia cards, map, and the rule sheet.

Game Piece

We decided to create two characters for each in-person and remote work players. When we printed out the first character, we realized the color did not match perfectly to the game board and the pieces were a little too big to play on.

For our second try, we changed the color to the currect color, and resized the pieces so it fits inside the box while we play on the board.

Box

I decided to design the game box into a briefcase-like design. This allows the player to know that the game is related to work.

The first draft of the box slide I made was too exact to the box, so it did not fit into the box we created. For my final draft, I enlarged the size and rearranged the tagline, logo and the design.
